Henna (Lawsonia Inermis)
Henna dyes the locks in red colors, and adding herbs such as Cassia Obovata, Indigo, Amla also helps to get beautiful, natural tones – different shades of red, maroon and black. The colors are extremely durable, with very good coverage of grey hair.
Natural Henna is extremely useful for the hair. If you use Henna as a hair dye, your hair will remain shiny, smooth and vigorous. From a healthy standpoint, Henna has nourishing, antibacterial and anti-fungal properties. It works well against dandruff and other skin problems.
Henna is used for the preparation of natural hair dyes and is an excellent anti dandruff hair treatment.
It is good for damaged, lifeless hair and treats well greasy roots.
Beware of henna, premixed with chemicals to achieve different intense colors. In nature there is no genuine black Henna! Commonly used additive to achieve an intense black color is PPD – extremely dangerous chemical. Henna’s bad reputation is precisely because of the artificial additives in it.
